Well, the end of the semester is almost upon me. I only have one more semester after this until I graduate from college...THE HORROR!! Then I'm either off to grad school or off to find a job. Both of which have their pros and cons, and I'm not sure which one I hope will happen yet.

I've been awfully reflective lately. This was a weird semester - parts of it have been awesome, and parts...less than such. I loved all my classes and I'm going to miss them (Ethics and Technology especially) - they were fun and meaningful. My grades are much better than they've been in a long time, too. I've also re-found my passion for a lot of things I used to love - like music and art.

On the negative side, I'm feeling rather lost as to where my home actually lies. Whenever I close my eyes and think of that warm, safe place, my mind takes me back to the house I lived in last year. I miss it so much, but I can't go back to it. I never warmed up to our new house, and I don't feel at home in Cleveland (where I grew up) either. Realistically it doesn't matter so much though, I guess, because I'll just be moving somewhere else again after I graduate

Also, I think it's worth mentioning that I feel more comfortable with myself these days than I EVER have before in my life. I've made changes I've never been able to grasp before and I've broken some bad habits too (namely selfishness and procrastination - to a point lol). I'm proud of myself.

Some random scattered thoughts for the moment...

Hostility does not beget hostility in me. Rather, it quickly causes me to stop taking a situation seriously. It becomes a game to me. I just don't bait well. And I'm not sorry for it. I like my ability to keep my own peace.

It's not that I try or want to be insensitive... But with all the walls and locked doors, disconnected and out-of-tune... You're so far away and shut so tightly, how can your words touch me?

I can bend so far, but I won't bow. I won't break either.

And I'm not going to play mind reader either. How can I know or understand something that I've neither experienced or had explained to me? I don't do guessing games; if you aren't going to tell me what you want, don't bitch later when I get it wrong! If it was so goddamn important, then it's your responsibility to try and get me to understand it. _{(Here's some insight on how I work: if nobody tells me I'm doing something wrong, I'm going to assume I'm doing it right and continue on that way.)} COMMUNICATION, PEOPLE.
